Gender- and diversity-friendly university teaching

By offering qualification courses and a broad spectrum of methods as well as teaching and learning platforms, instructors are motivated to understand and benefit from heterogeneity among students as an opportunity for high-quality teaching and to act as role models, for example through:

  • Further education in university didactics for teachers with a perspective on the diversity and heterogeneity of (previous) experiences, life situations and learning strategies in the methodology and didactics of university teaching;
    KomDim Project "DiVers - Didactics and Diversity in University Teaching"
     
  • Differentiated offer of teaching and learning methods;
     
  • Balanced representation of women and men and other various social groups among instructors and tutors.
